About the Last Orders Desk
Kitchen's Open is signed collectively as the Last Orders Desk, a shared name and not a person. Its purpose is to settle one late question: across Metro Vancouver's nine casinos, which kitchens are still serving food.

Why the desk keeps time
A casino floor being open does not mean its kitchens are serving. Of the nine casino floors, four publish hours that run round the clock, all week. Even so, an open floor at 1 AM says nothing about food orders.
Each kitchen keeps its own clock. The 24/7 Eats counter at Parq Casino never closes. KOI Noodle Bar, also at Parq, takes last food orders at 12:15 AM every night. Dinner at The Chairman's Room Buffet at River Rock stops at 9 PM. Of the 45 restaurants and bars the casinos name, 31 have serving hours the guide could read.
Richmond's own casino comes first. The list at River Rock Casino Resort opens with KOI, Gordon Ramsay Steak, Zio's, Rock House Burger & Fries, Privé Bar and Starbucks. How each time is checked
On October 7, 2026, the casino facts were checked once more against each casino's own pages, along with other official sources. Restaurant and bar hours were checked again on October 10, 2026, against the casinos' pages and the restaurants' own pages. Every time is Pacific time, as each casino publishes it, and nothing is estimated or rounded. Holiday hours, private events and temporary changes are not covered, so check those with the casino or restaurant itself.
Where published times for one restaurant or bar disagree, no serving hours are shown, and the page says so. That is the case for Gordon Ramsay Steak and the Privé Bar's small plates at River Rock. The desk has no named members, no personal bylines and claims no credentials.
Pictures on the Menu
An image generator redrew the Starlight Casino round bar, Cascades Casino Langley patio and Elements Casino Surrey food court from real photographs. The dawn breakfast table and the glass icons are also generated, but show no real place. Edited photographs of the Hastings Racecourse stables and Parq Vancouver plaza, plus the River Rock exterior, come from Wikimedia Commons. The Fraser River tugboat and River Rock buffet salad plate come from Flickr; every free photograph has author and licence beneath it. The maps are the Desk's own work, and this paragraph is the only place explaining how pictures were made.
