About this guide
Who pays the bill here
Three home page links marked Ad pay for Kitchen's Open, through a commission from a single online casino partner. Casinos and restaurants pay nothing, and neither do BCLC, PlayNow, TransLink or help services.

Three links, one page
Paid links on this guide exist on its home page alone. There are three of them, each one labelled Ad. The menu holds one. A block placed directly beneath the first screen contains the second. The last one waits toward the page's end.
Behind each of the three links stands one private online casino, and Kitchen's Open earns a commission from it. Kitchen's Open itself is not a casino or a restaurant: it takes no bets or bookings and has no accounts. The partner can change, so these pages do not name it.
What the partner is, and is not
Where the paid links go is a private online casino. PlayNow it is not, and the province has no role in running or licensing it. BCLC, the IGCO and every casino and restaurant in this guide have no connection to it either.
Provincial protections do not cover a BC resident who plays there. That site sits beyond the reach of PlayNow limits, and complaints about it have no route to the IGCO. Game Break stops short of it too: the program extends to casinos, community gaming centres and PlayNow.com, not to private online sites. The partner behind the links can change.
What money never buys
None of the casinos, restaurants, BCLC, PlayNow, TransLink or help services pay this site anything. Links to casinos and help services are unpaid as well.
No restaurant can buy a listing or a published hour. Of the 45 restaurants and bars the nine Metro Vancouver casinos name, 31 have serving hours the guide could read. River Rock's times for Gordon Ramsay Steak and Privé Bar disagree, so no hours are shown for them.
Questions at the counter
Can a restaurant buy a place in this guide?
No restaurant pays to appear. Restaurants, casinos, BCLC, PlayNow, TransLink and help services pay this site nothing, and its casino and help service links are unpaid.
Why are the paid links only on the home page?
That is how the guide is built. The home page holds its three paid links, each marked Ad, while no casino page carries one, River Rock's included.
Does the commission change the hours shown?
The commission has no bearing on hours. Kitchen hours here are only those a casino or its restaurant publishes for a named restaurant or bar. Where published times disagree, as at River Rock for Gordon Ramsay Steak and Privé Bar, no hours are shown.
